They are honored to work in the wellness & beauty industry alongside the other professionals in their spas and mentor others to start their own rewarding and lucrative careers.

Katie Gillberg is a born and bred Denver native, with family roots extending through Colorado for five generations. For college, she veered off the family path by enrolling in Arizona State University — earning a business and communications degree by 2010.Her lifelong passion for health and wellness led her to a post-grad career in medical sales, while also living a lifelong dream as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader for two seasons, 11-12 and 12-13. During that time, she traveled to Las Vegas for work conferences often. And, that’s when she was first introduced to IV therapy.

In 2016, Hydrate IV Bar’s first location opened in Denver’s Bonnie Brae neighborhood, with a menu of services for illness, wellness, recovery, and beauty. Hydrate IV Bar caught on quickly in the Denver market, largely set apart for its ability to provide services in a restorative, spa-like atmosphere while still maintaining the professionalism of a more traditional clinic.  In 2020, Hydrate IV Bar became a franchisor and now has 20 spas open throughout Colorado, Arizona, Texas and Utah with future developments in place nationwide. When Katie isn’t working, she’s still always on the go. She serves on the board of the Cherry Creek Chamber, the Highland Merchants Association and the Butterfly Children Fund. In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and two children, travels, stays active, and enjoys the Colorado outdoors — snowboarding in the winter, camping in the summer and always getting an IV in between.
